Juzen Chemical has introduced the continuous purification chromatography system Contichrom®, establishing an efficient production system for high-quality nucleic acid oligomers. In addition, we can develop process and manufacture novel modified nucleic acid monomers, allowing us to offer seamless production from monomer to oligomer. This realizes smooth transitions and high productivity throughout all the stages from drug development to commercial production of nucleic acid drugs, enabling us to offer optimal solutions to our customers.

Contract Manufacturing
Juzen Chemical is engaged in contract manufacturing of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and intermediates at the Toyama site. Our facilities boast an extensive range of manufacturing equipment designed to handle production volumes ranging from gram scale to ton scale, encompassing all stages from clinical trials to commercial products. This capability ensures a seamless contract manufacturing process. Capitalizing on our substantial manufacturing expertise, we have established a flexible system adept at managing complex processes. Notably, we excel in ultra-low temperature reactions, high-temperature reactions, and hydrogenation reactions, achieving stable production at ton-scale levels. Furthermore, we have developed a comprehensive quality control system that complies with the global standards through our GMP controls in accordance with the three pharmacopeias, the USP, the JP, and the EP. This empowers us to deliver exceptionally reliable products that consistently fulfill our customers' expectations.
CMC Solution Service
To promote acceleration of drug development, we offer a comprehensive One-Stop CMC solution service at our two locations: the Toyama site and the Shonan site, located in the Shonan Health Innovation Park. This integrated approach enables us to provide extensive support across all stages, from manufacturing process studies and testing method development to the optimization of scale-up processes for mid- to late-stage projects, ensuring compliance with various regulations, including the ICH Q3 series, and data acquisition for applications. Our team of experienced chemists delivers customized professional support tailored to the unique requirements of each project, responding swiftly and efficiently to ensure its success.
