Warehouse
In September 2024, a general automated warehouse compliant with GMP and a Class 4 hazardous materials automated warehouse were completed. The general automated warehouse features an automated rack area for storage at controlled temperature of 15–25℃, in compliance with the three pharmacopeias, the USP, JP, and EP. It also includes two rooms for Class 5 hazardous materials (one maintained at 25℃), a refrigerated warehouse (2–8℃), and a frozen warehouse (below -20℃).
Features of Storage Facilities
- The rack system areas of the general automated warehouse and the Class 4 hazardous materials automated warehouse are equipped with double reach stacker cranes to achieve high storage density and increase storage volumes.
- The risk of load collapse due to earthquakes is significantly reduced by adopting seismic-resistant racks. Additionally, the warehouse design incorporates measures to prevent damage from flooding based on the BCP (Business Continuity Planning).
- Exterior walls are made of ALC. The windowless design structure has achieved high airtightness, ensuring the pest and dust control.
- The general warehouse includes a receiving area and a staging area, and warehousing areas are laid out by reflecting the material flow plan which was made based on the inventory management classification. On the 2nd floor, there are two sampling rooms with MEPA (medium efficiency particulate air) filters, one of which is equipped with a walk-in draft chamber and local exhaust system for sampling, and two Class 5 hazardous materials storage rooms. The refrigerated warehouse (2℃-8℃) and frozen warehouse (-20℃ or below) are on the 3rd floor.
- The interior of the warehouse prevents contamination by the facility layout which is based on a rational workflow plan and appropriate room pressure control in the sampling room.
- For the storage facilities which require temperature control, temperature mapping was conducted during equipment installation and is regularly conducted thereafter. Based on the results, continuous temperature monitoring is appropriately performed.
- The warehouse system has implemented a storage management system suitable for pharmaceutical manufacturing to ensure high-quality storage management through reliable security measures and compliance with date integrity (DI).
